Many people are feeling frustrated with the summer weather. For example, serious droughts are occurring in many parts of the country. Thankfully, it looks like winter will be a bit easier. The Old Farmer’s Almanac has made its prediction for the upcoming winter. In case you haven’t read the full report yet, you can check out some of its predictions below.
Many parts of America will experience a warmer winter. Even better, the warmer winter weather is expected to bring a decreased amount of snowfall. This might be bad news for school children. Everyone knows kids love getting a few days off from school due to heavy snow. It also could be considered very bad news for ski resorts or folks looking to take a ride on a snowmobile or two across a field. However, most people will be pleased with the prospect of warmer weather during the winter months and a smaller amount of snow. The warmer temperatures will mean heating bills for many homes won’t be as bad as they were last year. Also, there will be less snow to clear from parked cars and driveways around America. Interestingly, this may keep many grandfathers around for another year or two. This is because many heart attacks occur during the winter months as older men attempt to shovel their driveways.
